We had requests for cushions from individual Australians taking part in a variety of Olympic and Paralympic sports, all of which we were able to meet.
These included BMX racing, sprint canoe, judo, gymnastics, track and field.
A request came for the whole Australian Olympic swimming team to have the opportunity to choose cushions and meet some of the makers. So on 19 July some of the Woolsack cushion makers visited the Australian Olympic swimmers at their north west hotel, taking along a lovely selection of cushions for them to choose from.
As you can see from the smiles it was a lovely occasion for both groups. They loved the cushions so much that they asked Alice, who had coordinated this visit, if we could make cushions for the Australian Paralympians - all 300 of them.
